Shouldn't 'Ghostbusters' Movies Have Jokes?

I remain perplexed by the marketing campaign for 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire'.

Today, Sony released the final trailer for the upcoming Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. While this is a relatively short trailer (a minute compared to the typical two-minute, thirty-seconds), let me know if you can spot what’s missing:

There is a quick little joke at the end of tiny Stay Puft marshmallow men destroying themselves, and Phoebe Spangler (Mckenna Grace) saying, “disgusting,” and that’s it. Comedians Patton Oswalt and Kumail Nanjiani are in the trailer, but they’re not making jokes. Sony is selling this as an action movie, which is surprising when you remember the original Ghostbusters (the one that this film and its predecessor, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, appear to worship) is a comedy that happens to have some action in it.
